Flemings — Underfoot, understood! Helping your feet feel at home.

For over 65 years, Flemings has been helping customers in the same local area choose flooring that makes their house feel like home. We’re proud to be still family-run, bringing a personal approach and decades of experience to every conversation . We’ll take the time to understand your home, lifestyle and budget, offering honest advice to help you find the right floor — rather than simply the most expensive option. Our free measuring service includes an assessment of your space and a written, no-obligation quote. All our quotation are limited to the specified products and standard installation. Where removal of the existing flooring reveals that additional works are required, the costs of such works shall be subject to agreement prior to commencement of those works.

Our carefully chosen flooring ranges offer plenty of options to help you find a look you’ll love. To ensure your chosen flooring is fitted with care and expertise, we work with specialist fitters for each flooring type. Our carpet fitter has over 30 years’ experience with stair runners, loop piles, carpet tiles and a wide variety of carpets. Our LVT specialist brings over 35 years’ experience in design flooring, screeding, plywood preparation and patterns, as well as sisal carpet. Our laminate and real wood fitter has 30 years’ experience, having trained as an apprentice with Flemings’ fitter 30 years ago. Specialist fitting takes careful planning, so please allow time when arranging your project; next-week availability is unlikely.

With decades of hands-on experience behind our fitting service, you can look forward to a high-quality finish. Once the work is complete, your fitter will give you the opportunity to walk through your new flooring and confirm that you’re happy with the result. If a fitting issue arises within the first six months, we’ll put it right, provided it hasn’t been caused by accidental damage. Fitting lead times vary throughout the year, so please give us a call-in advance — we’ll be happy to discuss availability with you.
